Materials and Rerolls Guide
Materials and rerolls are strongest when they support a plan. Save flexible rewards until your race, weapon, and build goal are clear.
Why rerolls are easy to waste
Rerolls feel exciting because they can change your route quickly. They are also easy to waste when you do not know what result your build actually needs.
Before spending a reroll, decide what problem you are solving: race identity, weapon direction, build correction, PvP matchup, or long-term optimization.
Spend or save checklist
- Save if you have not chosen a race route.
- Save if your current problem is practice, not build structure.
- Spend only when the result can improve your main goal.
- Spend after reading the relevant build or race guide.
- Never spend because a single fight went badly.
Materials planning
Materials should be tracked by purpose. Some materials support upgrades, some support crafting, some support route changes, and some should be saved until you understand their value.
A simple note is enough: where it came from, what it appears to support, and whether it helps PvE, bossing, PvP, or progression.
Reward item categories
- Rerolls: flexible but easy to waste.
- Shards: often tied to upgrade or route correction value.
- Charms: build-shaping items that should match your role.
- Consumables: best saved for difficult fights or focused sessions.
- Limited rewards: keep until their long-term use is clear.
Beginner resource rules
New players should spend low-risk resources and save route-changing rewards. Your first goal is to learn what you enjoy, not to force a perfect setup immediately.
If you do not understand an item, hold it. Reading one guide first is cheaper than losing a rare reward to guesswork.
Common resource mistakes
- Using rerolls before comparing race routes.
- Spending materials on upgrades that do not support your build.
- Treating every reward as limited without checking its role.
- Copying someone else resource plan without their build context.
- Using rare items to solve problems caused by poor combat timing.
