Party run basics

A party can make boss content easier, but only if players avoid chaos. Clear target focus, simple calls, and staggered cooldowns help more than everyone attacking randomly.

Role checklist

  • One player should keep pressure controlled.
  • Everyone should avoid overlapping every major cooldown.
  • Players should reset together after bad positioning.
  • Reward goals should be clear before farming.
  • Low-survival players should avoid greedy openings.

Common party mistakes

Many party wipes come from overconfidence. If the group wins once through messy play, do not assume the farm is stable until the run is repeatable.

Party boss role plan

Party boss farming is strongest when players agree on roles before the fight. Without a plan, extra players can make the boss harder to read and reward tracking harder to trust.

Before starting, decide who pressures, who plays safe, when the group resets, and what reward information everyone records.

  • Assign pressure instead of letting everyone chase damage.
  • Keep at least one player disciplined enough to call resets.
  • Do not overlap every important cooldown during uncertain windows.
  • Record party size with every drop note.
  • Stop if the party is farming faster but learning less.
