Skill tree value changes by goal, so rank skills by route fit instead of isolated power.

Skill tree value is about timing

A skill is valuable when it fits the moments you actually face: starting pressure, escaping pressure, punishing a boss, clearing routine enemies, or stabilizing a beginner route. Raw damage is only one part of that decision.

If a skill looks strong but you cannot land it safely, it is not strong for your route yet.

Skill priority by route

RoutePrioritize firstDelay until later
BeginnerSimple damage, survival, and one escape habit.Complex PvP-only tools.
PvERepeatable clears and low downtime.Risky burst that misses often.
BossSafe punish windows and recovery.Long commitment skills before pattern learning.
PvPNeutral control, reset tools, and punish timing.Pure farming skills.

Skill testing routine

  • Test one new skill across several fights before judging it.
  • Record whether the skill fixed damage, survival, mobility, or control.
  • Do not change your whole build while testing a skill.
  • If the skill only works in easy fights, do not build your route around it yet.

Skill value changes by route

Skill value depends on the route. A beginner skill should be easy to use. A PvE skill should clear reliably. A boss skill should fit safe punish windows. A PvP skill should help pressure, reset, or punish.

Do not rank a skill only by damage. Cooldown, recovery, range, safety, and how often the skill solves your real problem matter just as much.
